ESRA Technical Committee on
Uncertainty and Sensititvity Analysis
The objective of this Technical Committee is to foster research on new methodologies and innovative applications of Uncertainty and Sensitivity Analysis of simulation models.
Settings for such statistical tools include: model corroboration, model simplification, model output uncertainty reduction, parametric estimation. Applications cover risk in general with particular emphasis on technologic risk.
Dissemination activity covers summer schools, conferences, courses on sensitivity analysis, the sensitivity analysis web-site (http://sesitivity-analysis.ec.europa.eu), and the software SIMLAB for sensitivity analysis (available for free at http://simlab.jrc.ec.europa.eu).
The Technical Committee fosters the publication of peer-reviewed papers on the
journal Reliability Engineering and System Safety.
