There is a large choice of tours available to interested parties by contacting
the official Travel Agency of the Conference. Tours include city tours taking
in the many historical sites in and around Lisbon. Sintra and the Estoril Coast
are optional destinations in the immediate surroundings of Lisbon.
You can choose to go further afield, visiting Fátima, Nazaré and Óbidos by
travelling North of Lisbon. By crossing the ‘Tejo’ River, go south and visit
Évora, Arrábida and Sesimbra. A cruise on the River is an ideal way of spending
a morning or afternoon visiting historical monuments scattered along the coast,
or spend an evening dinning on the river.
